Distributor Xenetech Northwest: Creating Winning Combinations
July 17, 2007
Meet distributor Xenetech Northwest.
Xenetech Northwest is responsible for the largest geographic distribution region in Xenetech Global’s North American market, stretching from Alaska to the California – Oregon border, east to Montana and Wyoming, and including six Western Canadian provinces. Xenetech Northwest is headed by veteran sales professional Steve Gonder. Starting his career in the early 70’s, Steve has been in sales or sales management for everything from bicycles to capital equipment such as diesel engines for Cummins, heavy duty trucks for PACCAR, and CNC router tables & plasma cutters for MultiCam.
Over the past year, Xenetech Northwest has significantly grown engraving system sales for the region and earned the award for the highest sales per-capita within the entire Xenetech organization. Steve credits his relationship with Xenetech in Baton Rouge as one key to his organization’s success. “I have been fortunate, throughout my career, to represent companies and products that have outstanding reputations for quality, performance, and value and Xenetech Global’s rotary and laser engraving systems are certainly no exception,” states Steve. “Typically the machines ‘run right’ out of the box, require almost no repair during the warranty period, and minimal repair cost over the life of the system. In addition, Xenetech Global’s technical support department is the very best in our industry and certainly the most capable and responsive staff I have been associated with,” continued Steve.
Another major component of Xenetech Northwest’s success is Steve’s ability to attract the best and brightest people to support Xenetech customers in his territory. Xenetech Northwest customers are supported by Neil Neumann Sales in Western Canada, David Adams in Montana and Wyoming, Rod Alex in Western Washington, and Sid Priest in Oregon and Southwest Idaho. Dave Dougherty covers Alaska and support for Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho comes from our home office in Spokane, Washington. Service items and replacement parts are centrally stocked in Spokane. “Supporting Xenetech equipment with service or training after the sale is the foundation for our success at Xenetech Northwest,” Steve commented. “Our philosophy is that we are partners in business with each one of our customers. Whether it’s service, training, help with running a job, or generating a logo, there is someone ready to help.”
Steve Gonder - President, Xenetech Northwest
Xenetech Global’s President Guy Barone attended a trade show in Las Vegas in June where two new Xenetech Northwest customers had high praise for Xenetech Northwest. “Two business owners made a special effort to find me at the show and let me know how much they appreciated the training and ongoing support provided by Steve and his staff,” stated Barone. “These customers were already very productive with their systems and very happy. Steve and his staff consistently exceed customer expectations,” continued Barone.
Steve summed it this way, “We have great products, a great staff, and great customers and this is a winning combination.”
