You may have a customer that wants a proof of a Xenetech job before it is engraved. You can't e-mail him the XOT file, he has no way of opening it. What he needs is a PDF file of the job, but how do you make one?
It is simple if you follow these instructions.
Follow these instructions, and you will be making PDF files in no time.
Go to this web site and down load 2 files. The first file is the PDF writer and the second file is the converter file. Down load both to your desk top. Run the PDF writer first, and then the converter file. http://www.cutepdf.com/Products/CutePDF/writer.asp
The PDF writer is installed as a printer. In Xenetech, go to file and to Output to printer. Select the Cute PDF Writer as your printer, set you printing parameters in Xenetech and click on print. A window will pop up and ask you to name the file, and where you want to store it. That’s it. Anyone with Adobe Reader will be able to open the file. Most people have Adobe reader, but if they don’t, it can be down loaded from http://www.adobe.com/products/reader/
You can set the preferences in Cute PDF to print in color.
