Even Batman has more than one tool in his belt. Our Boy Wonder, Jimmy DuBose, shows how to extend the power of your Xenetech rotary engraver by leveraging the benefits of other software packages (like CorelDraw!) with the Xenetech Rotary Driver.
You know him, you love him. Now, let him show you how creating subscripts and superscripts in Xenetech Graphic Workstation is not much more difficult than it is to click on the link below to read the article.
It's pretty Simple. Jimmy makes braille make cents.

Scalloped Corners
Tired of fumbling with "Inside-Round-Corner-Box" setups to get that scalloped plate corner look? Starting with XGW 6.41 you can now do it more easily than ever. Simply go to "Misc | Setup." to bring up the "Setup Dialog" and type in a negative value in the "Grid Cut Out Corner Radius" field. Then check "Plate | Grid Cut Out On" before sending the job. This will give you beautiful scalloped corners on all your plates! Happy scalloping! - Cary Johnston, Software Development Manager
Inexpensive Maintenance
Did you know your rotary engraver came with brushes? If you notice that your engraving machine is skipping letters or not going all the way down to the surface to engrave or lifting up when it shouldn’t, your motor brushes could be the main cause. That’s because the spindle motor is constantly running and if your motor brushes are worn down this can create RF interference. This sends noise through the wiring and affects the operation of the Z axis motor. The brushes are normally ½" – 5/8" in length new. If they are ¼" or less they should be replaced. - Gary McNatt, Technical Support
Nudge
When you want to quickly move a line of text or a logo to allow for a more
uniform look to a plaque or engraved plate, try the “Nudge" feature. With the object selected and having a justification of "NONE" you can press CTRL+Arrow on the keyboard to move the object by the nudge amount.
You can also adjust this nudge amount by selecting “Snap Spacing” under the PAGE menu
in XGW. Simply enter the desired value for the "Nudge" amout in the “Snap Spacing” dialog box. This handy little feature makes small adjustments to text placement
very simple.
